Presentation #5: Gun Control

Do you think gun ownership causes or prevents crime? If guns became illegal to own and operate, do you believe that the crime and murder rate would dramatically increase or decrease?

Is going through registration, licensing, and a waiting period enough to be adequate control of gun regulation or should there more regulations to acquire a gun?

What restrictions on guns are permissible under the Constitution where it states, “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed”? How should the 2nd Amendment be interpreted?
